I have been making calendar for Love since... last yr.Materials involved things that are easily found @ Popular/any book store/handcraft shops.
It's October the next month, which also marks the day we got tgt for 2yrs.
Thus for this very special month, I thought of doing a little more for our calendar.
There are many ways to do it. And I thought sewing would be cute, and it is! :DIt took me more than 3hrs just to sew the outline of the calendar out... But seeing the outcome, I know it's worth the time, pain on my fingers & a drip of blood(Yes I pricked my poor thumb accidentally bcos I was falling asleep @ 4am. Without realising that it was alrdy so 'early' as I was obviously too engrossed in the process.).
This is the right column. I usually dedicate a section for taking down notes but for this month, I decided not to bcos apparently it isn't very useful, thus I made it beautiful. Okay I was just trying to make the sentence rhyme. Noob.*
The pictures are tied tgt and glued onto the calendar. Btw, the pics are mad tiny. Had quite a hard time tying them tgt.
Random. I made October before Sept(even though I'm ultra late since it's alrdy 11th Sept) cos I had inspiration for Oct. I love October! :D Oh it's also my 2 sisters' birthday month! Speaking of Sissy, she kept complaining that I'm ultra biased(cos when she asked me to make for her too, I said I can photocopy L's for her, LOL). Okay la I admit I'm quite biased. ): Therefore, I shall do smth for Sissy for her bday too! :D (Pray she doesn't read my blog till her bday comes. Wahahaha.)
Anyway, here are just some sneak peek of October. I will post up a more proper post on my handcrafts...(wanted to say tutorial but no, I'm not going to do a tutorial for this it's my secret weapon wahahahaha) Okay just kidding, I will share but reason for not posting tutorial is bcos I believe a part of my work comes from plagiarism :p Kidding, I meant inspiration.One tip: Just look up the net for inspiration! :D I do that all the time :)
