The overall experience wasn't bad but neither fantastic it was. Atmosphere was a little too noisy for my acceptance, chairs were shaky and unstable. Well luckily we did not need to wait for a seat even though the place was pretty crowded.
One Egg Soup $3.90Have been looking forward to this One Egg Soup as the reviews on ieatishootispost.sg was good. (4.5/5) but honestly was kinda disappointed. It's chicken broth which I thought would be much better if it's Mushroom Soup? Well this is my personal taste bud's prob. I love mushroom soup. Anyway Lulu mentioned that it has a corn taste? Wasn't too sure as I don't quite taste it. The "Souffle" on top went quite well with the soup, which I was grateful of cos it enhances the soup quite a bit and it's no doubt pretty unique. Y'know, instead of those toasted bread bits?
Overall this is not my kind of dish. 'll order if they ever come up with a version of Mushyroomy one. Neither of the guy's too.
Breaded NZ King Salmon with lemon butter $13.90+Best dish of the day which Love ordered. Not overdone at all and the breaded crunch on top made a statement for the dish. This is the first time I'm seeing this way of cooking salmon. Haha I know I'm mountain tortise. Anyway it was pretty good 'cept that the salmon wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, the sauce went okay with the salmon though.
However the portion was good for this as the salmon came in a pretty big piece. (I'm damn greedy hurhur)
Grilled Pork Chop $13.90+Lulu ordered this. His piece didn't look as huge and tempting though, haha. Forgot to ask for his feedback hahaha!
Did not try his desserts! Cos I was too full for any. Anyway I forgot to take a picture of my dish which wasn't featured in ieatishootipost. It was Creamy Salmon in a Cup if I'm not wrong? Costs $11.90+ but I supposed the smount of salmon vs the fries could be improved. I had soooo much fries and it wasn't too long before I felt full from all the chunks of potatoes.
Yea btw the above pic was nutella tart. I would definitely try it if I wasn't so full....
